Fireking Filing Cabinets are renowned for the quality of their construction and the level of protection they provide for documents. Built to last, they feature a gypsum barrier material that provides up to 1 hour of fire resistance. Each drawer is insulated separately, so once a drawer is closed, it provides a full level of protection even if other drawers are accidentally left open.
Fireking Fire Resistant Filing Cabinets have been tested and certified to independent international standards for fire resistance. SP models have been subjected to the NT FIRE 017 test. Other models are tested and certified by the Underwriters Laboratory to the UL 72 Class 350 fire and impact standard. Some models have also been certified by the renowned ECB-S testing lab according to the EN 1047-1 standard. These tests and standards ensure that your Fireking Filing Cabinet provides the very best protection, even in temperatures approaching 1000° Celsius.
A single key lock is fitted as standard to each cabinet. This can be used to open or lock any combination of drawers at once. Each drawer can store either A4 or legal documents. An A4 frame is included as standard.
A wide range of sizes are available in the vertical configuration, ranging from compact 2 drawer models to extra-deep 4 drawer versions. All cabinets are finished in a scratch resistant light-grey powder coat which blends easily into any office environment.
Certain Fireking cabinets are supplied by Robur Safes and may be badged as such.
