Description

The Fireking DM-3 series offers one of the highest levels of fire resistance possible for data media such as CDs, diskettes, backup tapes and more. Certified to the UL72 Class 125 standard, the DM-3 Data Safe provides up to 3 hours protection even in temperatures as high as 1050° Celsius. The internal humidity of the safe is also maintained at a level below 80% to prevent damage to fragile electronics.

Designed to withstand the most extreme treatment, the Fireking DM-3 has been drop tested to simulate a collapsing floor. It has also been subjected to an explosive heating test, which would cause lesser data safes to rupture due to the sudden expansion of the metal in their walls and doors.

Rounding off the DM-3’s impressive capabilities is its certified burglar resistance. Tested to the RSC (Residential Security Container) standard by the Underwriters Laboratory of America, the DM provides basic security protection for its contents.

The safe is protected by an easy to use electronic lock. The interior is supplied with no fittings as standard, allowing it to be customised using the optional shelving and drawers.
