A safe’s cash rating tells you how secure it is. The higher the cash rating, the more secure the safe. Safes also have a valuables rating, which is ten times the cash rating. If cash or items are stolen from the safe, your insurance company will in most cases cover the loss up to an amount equal to these ratings. Safes with a €26,000 cash rating provide excellent security for your home or business. Most have been independently tested to the EN 1143-1 burglar resistance standard and are known as Eurograde 2 (or II) safes.
