The ioSafe Solo SSD is one of the first external solid state drives, but far more unique is the incredible levels of protection it provides for digital data. Encased in military grade steel, fire resistant, waterproof, shock and drop tested, and tolerant to crush damage from any angle, it truly is disaster proof.

In addition, SSD technology provides fast read and write times for data over either the USB 2.0 or eSATA connection. Perfect for storing confidential files or sensitive information.

These hard drives can operate in temperatures between 0 and 40° C and humidity of between 20% to 80% (non-condensing).
