The Fireking 2131-CIA is an ideal solution for libraries or other organisations using card indexes or similar filing systems. Compact in size, this filing cabinet’s main drawers are subdivided internally to include an inner drawer, giving two levels of filing space within each drawer.

As you would expect from Fireking, the 2131-CIA is tested to the highest standards. Certified to the UL 72 Class 350 standard, this unit features a gypsum fireproof insulation that provides 1 hour of protection for documents, even in temperatures approaching 1000° C. A steel lattice within the cabinet’s body acts as reinforcement, allowing it to withstand drops of up to 30 feet on to rubble. Such impacts can commonly occur if a floor or building collapses during a fire.

A single Medeco key lock controls access to all outer drawers. The outer drawers can be locked and unlocked independently of each other. The cabinet is designed so that drawers are separately insulated. If one drawer is accidentally left open the contents of other drawers won’t be damaged by fire.

All cabinets are finished in a scratch resistant paint coat that will suit any office environment perfectly.
