A common strategy employed by burglars is to steal any recording equipment that might have caught them in the act. Not only does this mean the footage of the crime is lost, it also means new, expensive equipment must be installed.
The DVSafe DVR Security Box is designed to secure equipment such as hard drive recorders and other similarly-sized DVR and CCTV equipment. Built from robust steel, the unit can be bolted down to a table or floor and securely locked via a double-bitted key lock. Equipment is protected from theft and deliberate damage.
Each unit features full ventilation on all sides except the bottom, while the rear of the unit features larger gaps to allow access for cabling.
A range of sizes are available. Optional extras include a slide out tray for easy equipment access and a ventilation fan kit to help prevent overheating in equipment that tends to run particularly hot. The ventilation fan must be connected to a 220/240V alternating current.
An optional electronic lock is also available. This lock is easy to use and features a time delay and adjustable time windows for opening.
