Description

If you regularly back up your data then it must be extremely valuable to you. Statistics suggest that up to 56% of all companies go out of business that have had vital trading information lost due to fire or theft. How much would it cost you if you lost all your data? How many months or years did it take to compile? Without adequate protection it could be lost in minutes. Therefore the Datacare series from Phoenix is the answer. The Datacare safe is secure, modern, and highly tested which will ensure that your data and files are effectively protected.

Data storage and magnetic media is highly sensitive and susceptible to low levels of heat or humidity. These include diskettes, data cartridges, DVDs, CDs, hard drives, USB drives, Dell Ultrium 3 and 4 tapes, memory cards and memory sticks. Manufacturers recommend that the maximum temperature of exposure to these media devices must not exceed 52°C or humidity levels of 85% or greater.

All our safes have been tested extensively in the UK and Sweden. The Swedish test NT FIRE 017-120 requires a testing temperature of 1050°C and this has to be maintained for over 2 hours. During this gruelling test the Datacare 2003 restricted the temperature to a maximum of 39°C, passing the Data protection test with flying colours. All the Datacare 2000 series safes are built to these exact standards.
